Former G League athlete Chance Comanche has allegedly confessed to his involvement in a gruesome murder of a Las Vegas woman, according to reports from Fox 5 Las Vegas. In his confession to authorities, Comanche disclosed a harrowing plot in which he and his ex-girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, conspired to kill Marayna Rodgers.
The chilling details revealed that Comanche and Harnden initiated plans to harm Rodgers after she demanded a Rolex watch from Harnden, threatening her otherwise. Their initial plan to hire someone for the murder fell apart, leading Comanche to suggest strangulation as an alternative. Ultimately, the pair crafted an elaborate scheme where Comanche posed as a decoy to lure Rodgers under pretenses. He admitted to using an HDMI cord to strangle Rodgers briefly before Harnden joined in the assault.
After the victim became unresponsive, the pair disposed of her body along Vincenzo Lane in Henderson, Nevada, concealing it with rocks and destroying her phone to cover their tracks.
Chance Comanche is currently held without bail at Sacramento County Main Jail, awaiting extradition to Las Vegas, where he and Harnden face murder charges. The ex-G League player is scheduled to appear in Sacramento Superior Court on December 26th as investigations into this chilling crime continue.
