In preparation for their debut NBA seasons, both first-round picks of the Dallas Mavericks have partnered with Nike. October 23, Dallas Mavericks’ Dereck Lively II and O-Max Prosper secure Nike shoe deal. With the 2023-24 NBA season commencing in just one day, it’s only fitting that Dallas Mavericks’ newcomers, Dereck Lively II and O-Max Prosper, secured a shoe deal beforehand.
Dereck Lively II and O-Max Prosper Secure Nike Shoe Deal
Nick DePaula reported on Monday that NBA rookies Lively and Prosper, along with the top pick Victor Wembanyama, are among 13 rookies who have signed shoe contracts with Nike.
Lively used Nike footwear during his time at Duke, while Prosper was affiliated with the Jordan Brand at Marquette. Hence, both are well-acquainted with being part of the Nike family.
