Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley discussed Steph Curry in a recent interview with Monte Pool of NBC Sports Bay Area. Just last month, the Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. Over the course of his career, Barkley played for the Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Phoenix Suns.
“I said after he won this one, that puts him on the list with Isiah Thomas. He’s at the table in the Hall of Fame with Isiah Thomas as probably the best point guard. Those two guys are probably the two best points to ever play the game.” Said Barkley via Pool.

After the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals last month, Curry became a four-time NBA Champion. In the first three rounds, the Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Denver Nuggets.
Since the 2019 season, they have not previously participated in the NBA Playoffs. They didn’t make the playoffs in 2020 and 2021, but prior to the dry spell, they had advanced to the NBA Finals five times in a row and won three titles.
As a result, no other team has appeared in the NBA Finals six times in the past eight seasons, including this one. The Warriors have become one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history under Curry’s leadership. He is still only 34, so they have plenty of time to try for additional championships in the coming years.
Warriors missed Klay?
Though there have been many superstars alongside Curry, one particular name, Klay Thompson, was the most important one. They have reached the NBA Finals in each of the previous six seasons that Klay Thompson has played. The only two years in which the Warriors missed in the past decade were 2020 and 2021, in which Klay was absent due to injury.
