Marcus Smart was in superb form upon his return in Game 2 after missing out on the first game against Miami Heat
Marcus Smart missed game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals for Bolton Celtics and they certainly missed him. On his return in the second game, he more than made for it by recording yet another double-double.
It was the fifth double-double of his post-season career and third this post-season. He finished the match a rebound shy of a triple-double with 24 points, 12 assists, and nine boards helping the Celtics to defeat the Miami Heat and equaling the series. The final game of the series will be played at TD Garden this weekend.
Marcus Smart, like much of his teammates, was feeling the heat of the game and the pressure of going one down already. He connected 5 of 12 shots from a 3-point range and wasn’t looking at his best. However, it was his crossover of Heat point guard Max Strus which defined his game. The crossover was so exceptional that even the bench of Celtics couldn’t control their emotions, showing a great emotional outcry.
Response from the Fans
Malik Fitts seemed to enjoy Smart’s crossover the most.
“Marcus had Max Strus dancing & the bench let him know ð¬”

It appears, former Celtics forward Marcus Morris was also a fan of Smart’s crossover:
