The Cleveland Cavaliers have made a strategic move to enhance their roster, announcing the signing of guard Zhaire Smith to a 10-day contract. This decision was confirmed by Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman from the team’s training facility, Cleveland Clinic Courts.
If I’ve got my math right, Zhaire Smith (CLE) and Tosan Evbuoumwan (DET) will end up with 10-day deals that will actually run 12 and 11 days.
A 10-day deal runs for the greater of 10 days or three games. Both CLE & DET only play twice before the ASB, so each guy gets extra days.
