During the previous season, Simmons only played in 15 games due to a nerve impingement from a herniated disc. Looking back on that time, he acknowledged, “I wasn’t fully committed… but in the end, I ended up here, and this is where I’m at now.” Simmons was benched twice due to his back injury, but after a lengthy rehabilitation, he is now more ready than ever to make a valuable contribution to the team.

New Approach After Surgery

After his second back surgery in May, Simmons and his medical team implemented a new rehabilitation method that has displayed encouraging outcomes. When questioned about the possibility of a different result this season, Simmons expressed positivity: “I feel much more liberated.” I experienced no obstacles during the rehabilitation process, which was the most encouraging aspect for me. It informs me that the operation was a success.

Now that Ben Simmons appears to have overcome his health problems. He is ready to take charge of the Nets in the upcoming season. The comeback of the three-time All-Star could have a significant impact on Brooklyn’s push to succeed in the Eastern Conference. Simmons will be closely watched to determine if this season signals his return.
