Former Celtics stalwart Avery Bradley is embarking on a new journey, this time landing in the heart of Utah’s basketball scene alongside his longtime ally, Danny Ainge. After a fruitful seven-season stint in Boston, the dynamic duo of Avery Bradley and Danny Ainge are rekindling their partnership in the Jazz organization.
Avery Bradley and Danny Ainge Reunite in Jazz Spot
Sources roam around speculating that “Bradley” has attributed the role of vice agent of player development in case of “The Nets“, Deseret News confirmed it by their science writer “Sarah Todd”. Moreover, Bradley did start off hovering near the trends in Utah in a more informal way, but eventually his presence has allegedly become more noticeable as the Jazz played against the Warriors, bringing their season to its close.
Ainge, who once managed the non-executive duties of the team, has a connection to Bradley that goes way back to 2010, when he used the team’s 19th pick to draft Bradley at 19th overall from the draft pool. Originating in Texas, the Bradley player had a 12-year NBA career. He is proudly remembered and honored for having sporting the Celtics green for a considerable period of time. His final brilliant managerial days for the Lakers as being always the key player of the Los Angeles team were in the 2021-2022 season.
This is simply the demonstration of a pattern which Ainge seems to build a Boston enclave in mini with the folks whit the Utah Jazz. Scott Morrison, who is close to the Boston Celtics family as an ex-assistant and ball boy’s coach, Ervan Bradds (assistant), and Will Hardy (head coach), all of them previously have worked for Ainge. Also from Jason Terry, who competed with back the Celtics in the 2012-13 season, has also got the same spot on Hardy’s coaching team.
With the NBA draft lottery fast approaching on May 12th, with the Utah Jazz hanging onto an embarrassingly measly 6 % odds of success, the internet is buzzing about this couple. Ainge’s deliberate actions and expertise, while combined with Bradley’s extensive knowledge gathered over many seasons, may very well shake up the state of Utah’s basketball, including an injection of new energy and, it might be, a touch of turmoil.
