Reggie Perry Joins the Greensboro Swarm in G League Trade

The Greensboro Swarm, the G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, has made an exciting move by signing forward Reggie Perry. In a transaction involving the Osceola Magic, the Swarm surrendered Angelo Allegri’s returning rights and a first-round pick in 2026, while also obtaining a second-round pick for 2025. In conjunction with this trade, the Swarm released M.J. Walker Jr., allowing for Perry’s entry.

Perry’s Journey Through the NBA and Beyond

Reggie Perry, who hails from Georgia, was selected in 2020 by the Los Angeles Clippers as the 57th overall choice. Throughout his NBA career, Perry has been a part of the Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Indiana Pacers, averaging 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Perry also stood out in the G League with notable performances for the Raptors 905 and Motor City Cruise last season, recording averages of 21 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.

Recently, Perry demonstrated his scoring skills on an international stage. While competing for the Shenzhen Leopards in the Chinese CBA League. There, he posted averages of 25.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists across 10 games, showcasing his ability to be a prominent player for Greensboro.

Perry’s Swarm Debut

Perry is set to debut with the Swarm on November 13 at 11:00 a.m. ET, as Greensboro competes against the Capital City Go-Go, the affiliate of the Washington Wizards. Both fans and teammates are excited to witness Perry utilize his scoring and rebounding abilities on the court. Enhancing the Swarm’s season with his energetic performance.
