Chris Bosh triumphantly returns to the court on Saturday for the first time since his career came to a close in 2016. The former Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat star took part in Goran Dragić’s goodbye game in Slovenia, along with other NBA players.
A Career Cut Short
Bosh’s career came to an abrupt end in 2016 because of a blood-clotting condition. Even with this unfortunate development, Bosh had an amazing 13-year career in the NBA. His average stats were 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and one block per game. During the initial part of his professional journey, he shone with the Raptors before becoming a member of the Miami Heat alongside Dwyane Wade and LeBron James in 2010.
Champion and All-Star
Bosh’s numerous achievements define his career. He was selected as an NBA All-Star 11 times and secured two NBA titles with the team Miami Heat. Moreover, he had a significant impact on the United States’ 2008 “Redeem Team,” securing Olympic gold in Beijing following a bronze medal in 2004.
His legacy is not only confirmed by his induction into the Hall of Fame. But also by the Miami Heat retiring his No. 1 jersey in 2021.
