Steph Curry and Kevin Durant are relishing the chance to play together again on Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, rekindling the magic from their Golden State Warriors days.

In Team USA’s dominant 110-84 victory over Serbia, Durant led with 23 points while Curry added 11, including one of his signature no-look three-pointers to seal the game.

In an exclusive interview with Marc J. Spears of Andscape, Durant opened up about reuniting with Curry and reminiscing about their shared success with the Warriors. “We definitely, definitely, definitely did talk about some good times that we had together,” Durant shared. “[Curry is] just an incredible human being. [I’m] getting to spend some time with him on a deeper level. I’m looking forward to getting to know these dudes on a deeper level already.”

Curry echoed these sentiments in a conversation with the San Francisco Chronicle’s Ron Kroichick, expressing his joy in “rekindling old flames” with Durant. The duo led the Warriors to consecutive NBA championships in 2017 and 2018, creating unforgettable memories on and off the court. Their partnership came to an end when Durant joined the Brooklyn Nets after the Warriors’ 2019 Finals loss to the Toronto Raptors.

Durant’s journey continued as he was traded to the Phoenix Suns midway through the 2022-23 season, once again becoming a rival to Curry in the Western Conference. Despite the competition, their time with Team USA has allowed them to reflect on their remarkable chemistry and achievements.

As they continue to represent their country in Paris, fans are treated to glimpses of the synergy that made them an unstoppable force in the NBA. The reunion of Steph Curry and Kevin Durant on Team USA is not just a nostalgic trip down memory lane but also a testament to their enduring talent and camaraderie.
