David Ugochukwu Nwaba is an American professional basketball player, who played college basketball for Santa Monica College and Cal Poly, and is currently playing for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Professional career
Los Angeles D-Fenders (2016–2017)
Nwaba went to Reno, Nevada to trial for the NBA Development League’s Reno Bighorns after graduating from Cal Poly with a sociology degree in the spring of 2016. His rights were assigned to the Bighorns, but they were eventually traded to the Los Angeles D-Fenders on October 30, 2016. Nwaba joined the D-Fenders for training camp and was named to the roster on opening night.
